Cookie Policy

Last updated: 29 July 2026 · Version v1.0

These documents explain how HappyBag protects your data and how the platform should be used.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. HappyBag also uses similar technologies such as local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences.

Necessary cookies

These are required for the platform to work and cannot be switched off.

  • Authentication — keeps restaurant owners signed in securely
  • Session — keeps your basket and order details during checkout
  • Security — helps protect accounts and prevent abuse

Analytics cookies

We use basic analytics to understand how the platform is used so we can improve it. This data is used in aggregate and is not used to identify individual customers.

Preference cookies

These remember choices you make, such as notification sound settings and dashboard preferences, so the platform behaves consistently next time you visit.

Marketing cookies

HappyBag does not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. If this changes, this policy will be updated and consent will be requested first.

Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies will stop parts of HappyBag — including sign-in and checkout — from working.
